General Motor's "Electrification" boss of GM and Powertrain Exec. Dir., Larry Nitz, sits down and provides his insights on what GM has learned so far with the Chevy Volt and their electrification journey. This just appeared about two weeks ago, not a crazy edition of Throwback Thursday.

Larry talks powetrain at GM early in the video panel discussion and the electrification discussion starts at the 15:20 mark.

"Most loved compact car running. I love this car. It's a terrific change and shows what's possible in the industry."

"65 percent of overall driving for the Volt to this point is electric, particularly in commuting. What we found abou 82% of the energy is coming from the plug for commuting."  

"If you give a Volt to a customer for two weeks, they get it."
