Production of BYD-Daimler DENZA EV begins in China | Green Car Congress: As the article states, the DENZA is the first car that Daimler has engineered from the bottom up outside of Germany (with BYD) and it has a charging range of 150 miles at a strong price of $60,000 U.S. The body style does not say luxury, but the price tag does. Subsidies for this hometown car are BIG.
